As an active licensed broker of residential, commercial and investment properties; editor of the Tampa Bay Residential Real Estate Report; active real estate investor, developer and historic restorationists, Peter Murphy brings a board spectrum of real estate experience to the Tampa Bay marketplace.
Murphy’s responsibilities at Home Encounter include the analysis of local and national real estate markets and property specific real estate performance. As is the editor of the Tampa Bay Residential Real Estate and Distressed Sales Reports, his research and opinions have been featured in media outlets across the United States, including USA Today, Chicago Tribune and the Orlando Sentinel, as well as locally in medial outlets such as The St. Petersburg Times, The Tampa Tribune, The Tampa Bay Business Journal, Fox 13 News and Bay News 9.
Peter Murphy received a BS in Economics from the University of South Florida in 2001 and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in 2006.
He serves on the Florida College Business College Leadership Committee and is a dedicated member of the North Livingston Church of Christ in Lutz.
He lived and worked in Dublin, Ireland and Boston, Massachusetts before settling in Tampa in 1997. He currently resides in Tampa with his wife, Lauren, and two children. |
